We receive a very large number of requests looking for Indigenous talent. ILBIJERRI does not operate as an agency and we therefore do not represent actors individually. We try to assist with enquiries where possible but cannot guarantee assistance with unsolicited requests. The Black Book is an extensive online directory where you can search for actors, dancers, producers, musicians and other creatives whilst having access to their contact details either through an agent or directly.

ILBIJERRI is always interested in hearing new stories and welcomes Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander artists and community with ideas and material to contact our office. Under our BLACK WRITERS LAB program we look to development untold Indigenous stories and create an environment where a script can grow into a polished piece ready for staging.

ILBIJERRI Theatre Company receives a large amount of requests from communities, schools, government and other organisations to assist with projects that they are working on. We only specialize in contemporary Indigenous theatre pieces performed either in a festival, main stage or school touring program format. Due to the nature of our artistic program we are unable to cater for requests outside this.
