POSITION VACANT:

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER (MARGUK)

SALARY : $50,000 to $60,000 + superannuation
HOURS: Part Time (4 days/30 hours per week)
TERMS: 12-month contract
REPORTS TO : Creative Director, General Manager, Executive Producer

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Associate Producer is responsible for supporting the successful implementation of the MARGUK program. Reporting primarily to the Creative Director, the Associate Producer will help deliver the annual education program; build relationships with primary and secondary schools across Victoria; lead the management and delivery of health promotion partnerships, including planning, presentation and touring and assist the Creative Director in delivering the diverse elements of the MARGUK program through the year. This position offers professional development and regional travel opportunities.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

  1. Commitment to advancing ILBIJERRI’s mission and to supporting the MARGUK program in line with the company’s organisational values.
  2. Strong knowledge of First Nations cultures and communities.
  3. Excellent producer and program implementation skills and experience.
  4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with First Nations communities.
  5. Experience working with and delivering education and/or arts and theatre, or strong willingness to learn.
  6. Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team of diverse people.
  7. A tertiary qualification in arts or education, or related industry experience.
  8. Working with Children’s Check and current Drivers Licence or willingness to obtain these.
