ILBIJERRI auspiced a grant from the Department of Justice for 7 DEADLY GINS a play written and performed by the Deer Park Indigenous Women’s Collective and presented by the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre.

ILBIJERRI’s Artistic Director Kylie Belling workshopped the play with the women over 8 months, alongside actor Tammy Anderson, dancer Eva-Jo Edwards, and musician and broadcaster Kutcha Edwards. The project was developed out of the education program within the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre and empowered the women to explore their own stories through theatre.
