BLAK INSIDE presented an opportunity for six playwrights to have their work staged, for numerous Indigenous actors to work professionally and for Indigenous directors to try their hand with Indigenous works shows the breadth of skills amongst Victorian Indigenous theatre practitioners.

It was a hugely significant season for Victorian Indigenous theatre by demonstrating the multitude, complexity and variety of Indigenous voices within Victoria alone.
