“Although Chopped Liver deals with serious issues, it does so in a funny and clever manner. The audience was in stitches throughout the performance.” – J-Net

A Blak Comedy about Life, Love, and being more than “Chopped Liver”. CHOPPED LIVER spans 20 years and follows the stories of Lynne and Jim, two Koori’s from country Victoria and the way their lives are impacted by hepatitis C. The two-person play shows that hepatitis C doesn’t have to be a negative and life damaging experience and can be effectively managed.

CHOPPED LIVER is a partnership initiative funded by Corrections Victoria and Department of Human Services and developed in collaboration with ILBIJERRI Theatre, Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) and the Hepatitis C Council. The show has toured nationally in schools, prisons and regional centres for almost four years and has been seen by over 10,000 people.
