Grant opportunities for artists

We know that many of you are pretty preoccupied right now with the immediate changes to your lives brought on by the Covid-19 situation. However, for those who are in a position to think a few steps in front right, there are some useful funding opportunities around that are open to independent artists, and may be helpful in keeping your practice firing over the pandemic times. Here are a couple:

In response to Covid-19 impacts on the creative sector, Australia Council for the Arts has recently announced a Resilience Fund quick response opportunities for individuals, organisations and groups, open from Friday 3 April. The Resilience Fund includes three streams: Survive, Adapt and Create. For more info, follow this link: https://www.australiacouncil.gov.au/funding/

City of Melbourne are also offering quick response grants for artists and arts orgs effected by COVID-19, open now: https://www.melbourne.vic.gov.au/news-and-media/Pages/Grants-open-for-arts-organisations-affected-by-COVID-19.aspx
