Born on Kulin country and grown up on Kabi Kabi country, a whitefella with Swiss, German, Scottish, Irish and English ancestry, Kendra Keller, is a writer, performance artist and arts manager, with over a decade of experience in the arts industry. As an administrator she has worked on major events including Woodford Folk Festival, The Dreaming, and Queensland Multicultural Week. She has secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding for arts organisations and independent artists, contributed to arts policy development, sat on arts funding committees, ghost written speeches for politicians, and taught arts management at a tertiary level. Her qualifications include a BA in International Relations and Cultural Studies (Dean’s Commendation), USC, 2009, and a Grad Cert in Creative Industries: Creative Production and Arts Management, QUT, 2011. She has been at ILBIJERRI since October 2018 and is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to an organisation of extra ordinary spirit, generosity and vision.
