ILBIJERRI Ensemble 2020: Expressions of Interest
CALLNG FIRST NATIONS PERFORMERS!
ILBIJERRI Ensemble is BACK and bigger and BLACKER than ever!
Since our 2019 Future Echoes debut (and hugely successful) production of CONVERSATIONS WITH THE DEAD by Richard Frankland, ILBIJERRI Ensemble is expanding and re-assembling for its 2020 program.
Open to emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander actors, performers, community members and storytellers (aged 15+) – the ILBIJERRI Ensemble fortnightly free program allows you to level up your performance skills whilst working closely with renowned theatre practitioners, including our very own multi-award winning Artistic Director, Rachael Maza.
Participants will: learn new skills; collaborate with emerging and established First Nations theatre artists; build industry networks and career pathways and have opportunities to showcase their own talents.
FORTNIGHTLY WORKSHOPS WILL COMMENCE 18 APRIL 2020
Workshops will be held at VCA Performing Arts Building, Southbank.
REGISTER your interest today, and please SPREAD THE WORD!
