We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Elders, Ancestors and leaders of the Kulin Nations on whose unceded lands ILBIJERRI Theatre Company is based.
We extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, recognising their resilience and ongoing connection to land, water and culture, despite ongoing colonial interruption and genocide.

ILBIJERRI’s Artistic Director Kylie Belling workshopped this play with women from the Deer Park Indigenous Women's Collective over eight months, alongside actor Tammy Anderson, dancer Eva-Jo Edwards, and musician and broadcaster Kutcha Edwards. The project was developed out of the Education Program within the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre and empowered the women to explore their own stories through theatre.
